Cynthia Hagen Cross, President & CEO, Hagen/Sinclair Chico
“I get inspired each time I talk with a client about a new project. I love setting it up and then watching the recruiting team work with gusto to bring it to successful completion.”
Cynthia constantly seeks to improve internal and project operations at Hagen/Sinclair. Her prior work experience includes two consulting businesses in branding research and marketing communications and positions in commercial banking and telecommunications. She holds a BA in Humanities from UC Berkeley and an MA in English Literature from Mills College in Oakland.
A native of the SF Bay Area, Cynthia is enthusiastic about her current life in the vibrant arts community of Chico. She enjoys yoga, gardening, reading on diverse topics, and attending her husband’s theater and music performances. She also loves to dance.
Anita Sinclair, President & CEO, Hagen/Sinclair Oakland
“I never know what’s coming; this industry keeps me guessing and interested in how the latest trend plays out and what new revelation awaits discovery.”
Anita is smart, curious, and obsessive, with prior experience heading her own advertising agency, A. Sinclair Ink, and serving as Director of Fundraising for The National Multiple Sclerosis Society and Sonoma State’s School of Arts and Humanities. Anita has double BAs in Art Studio and Creative Writing from Sonoma State University and an MA in Creative Writing from San Francisco State University.
Tennis brings Anita great joy and deep sorrow; what demon created a game capable of such grace and so many opportunities to practice humility? She writes in a variety of forms – the essay, the screenplay, the stage play, the short story – without much discipline but with lots of soul and humor.
